# Waterly Core Update: 2025-03-31

## Updates

We’ve introduced a new **Waterly Protected** field feature to enhance the security of your metrics. This ensures that sensitive fields cannot be modified without the proper authorization and due process.

If you’d like to **lock down an existing metric**, please feel free to reach out—we’re happy to show you how!

Additionally, we’ve made various **bug fixes, improved usability and made performance improvements** to provide you with a smoother, faster, and more reliable experience.
